SPAGHETTI SUPPER WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

A well attended, Spaghetti Supper was held at St. Mark's United Church on September 28th which was organized by the "Friends of Darryl MacQuarrie". Darryl has been ill and unable to work since May, spending most of his time since then in hospital and has recently undergone surgery. A total of $3649.25 was raised from the proceeds of the supper. Admission was by donation.

For those who were unable to attend the supper and wish to support the MacQuarrie family, a trust fund has been set up. Donations may be made at any branch of the Toronto Dominion Bank in Atlantic Canada.

The volunteers in the kitchen worked hard to keep up with the demand for dinners.
