An Invitation from Inverness Guysborough Presbytery
If we had a bishop, he'd already be wrestling with how to best use our resources for the church of today, with an eye to the future. However, in our church structure the decisions come from the bottom up. The presbytery, in a sense performs the role of a bishop. We decide how to respond to the call of God. Often this means no decision is made. To decide to do nothing is a decision, though it may not be a faithful one. Our presbytery is taking the task of visioning more seriously and have agreed to meet on  Tuesday October 16th for that purpose. We'd like to invite anyone interested in being a part of that vision to join us from 2:00- 8:30 (with a supper break included) at the Cameron Hall in Whycocomagh. We will be lead through a process by Lesley Harrison of the EDGE ministry network. In order for us to have accurate numbers for supper and to form working groups for the day, please let your minister know you are coming. Dinner will cost $10.00.

October 31st – 10:30 a.m. – Nursing Home Service
