Tired of Writing Cheques for Your Offering?
Did you know that there is another way of making your weekly offering to the church?
You don't have to write a cheque with the bank charges involved and you don't need to put cash in your Church envelope. In fact you won't need an envelope at all. Many of us are already paying bills with convenient pre-authorized remittance. Each month the amount specified comes painlessly out of our bank accounts. You can also do this with your church offering with PAR. There is a big advantage for our Church too - we can count on a regular income, even during the lean months, to pay our expenses and keep out of the red.

Book Study
The next Book Study is tentatively scheduled for February on Monday evenings. The book is titled "How Good Do I Have To Be?" by Harold Kushner and is available through Volume One book store at the Port Hawkesbury Centre at a cost of $14.95. There are several copies of the book on the rack at Volume One at the moment. If the book has to be ordered there is a three week delivery period.
Confirmation
There is a Confirmation sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the entrance of the St. Mark's Church and in the hall at St. David's Church. If you or a member of your family is interested in being confirmed, please place your name on the list.
