ORDER OF SERVICE SUNDAY OCTOBER 14TH 2012

October 14th, 2012

20th after Pentecost

Thoughts around which to gather as we worship: This week provides ample opportunity to reflect on how wealth and possessions get in the way of faithful living and to ponder how we might divest ourselves of some of what we have. We might also reflect as church community on our attachment to things like our buildings and familiar ways. What would it mean for your community to give away what they have in order to respond more fully to Jesus invitation to follow his ways? What risk would it involve?
