Teathyme Quilters @ St.Mark’s

Quilters have been meeting at the church for several years every Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. They began with six quilters and now the group has grown to fourteen quilters meeting to quilt and enjoy the camaraderie of others. The quilters represent many of the churches in our community and beyond.

It was time to have a name! The official name is now Teathyme Quilters @ St. Mark’s! The Tea refers to the tea we always must have at 2:30 and thyme is the spice that we are! All are welcome to come and help and learn.

The quilters and M & S Committee are busy planning the Annual Quilt Show and Desserts Tea to be held Anniversary Weekend, June 8th. The public is invited to view the quilts of local quilters and enjoy a fabulous dessert. The donation at the door will be divided with Mission and Outreach and the General Fund.

A fee is charged for quilting a quilt and this money is given to the church. From November 5, 2006 to June 10 2007, the quilters have given $375.00 to the church fund.
