Our family has arrived!
Inverness County Welcomes refugee resettlement committee would like to thank everyone who responded to the request for household items, those who made donations, and those who prayed for a safe voyage for the family and for the success of the project. It is truly heartwarming to see the generosity and concern especially in these difficult times.
The members of the Aldhahab family (Joseph, Amel, sons Randy and Wael, and daughter Aneeta) arrived in Halifax from Syria late Monday night and are now settled in their apartment in Port Hood, thankful to all for your support and looking forward to meeting everyone.
