Take

prayer as a symbol of what is locked away.
Words
of Affirmation
Jesus
appeared to the disciples through locked doors.
He
did not berate them,
he
offered them peace.
Jesus
stood with Thomas in his disbelief.
He
did not rebuke him,
he
offered him peace.
So
Jesus stands with us
and
does not condemn us.

offers peace and forgiveness,
and
the gift of the Spirit to comfort us.
