Prayer Shawl Knitting Circle Knitters and crocheters gather together in the parlour of St. Mark’s on the 3rd Monday of each month. Next time of gathering is February 16th at 1:00 p.m.

February 3rd – Presbytery Triennial Visit (Pastoral Care and Oversight) at St. Mark’s at 7:00 p.m.

What is a Presbytery Oversight Visit?
Oversight visits are part of the Presbytery’s ministry to the Pastoral Charges within its bounds. It is the Presbytery’s responsibility to keep in touch with all Pastoral Charges, supporting in times of struggle and celebrating and encouraging achievements. The United Church of Canada is set up so that there is support and encouragement for all Pastoral Charges and all ministry personnel in its care. One way this is done is through regular Presbytery Oversight Visits. In this presbytery, these visits are to happen every 3 years (triennial).

St. David’s Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 following Worship Service. Everyone welcome to attend this meeting.

St. David’s UCW will be placing a box in the narthex for new or gently used womens and children's scarves, mittens, gloves, hats and or socks. These will be sent to the Brunswick Street Mission in Halifax once enough have been collected.
