A thought around which to gather as we
worship:
David’s
anointing at such a young age (and so long before his actual
installation as king of Israel) has a powerful effect on the
rest of his youth and development. We learn that from that moment on,
the spirit of God rests mightily on him; bestowing leadership on
young people today can be no less transformative.

might the talents and potential in young people be affirmed and
nurtured?
