Warm Generosity, Hot Meals!
Maritime Conference is blessed with generous hearts. The total amount donated by you for survivor support to date is $9,567.55, and cheques are still being received. Thanks to all those who contributed to support Former Students of Indian Residential Schools attending the Truth and Reconciliation National Event in Halifax October 26-29. Hospitality was offered by churches through an ecumenical effort that provided a hot breakfast each day of the event. Survivors expressed great appreciation for this. May we continue efforts to Live into Right Relations with our aboriginal neighbours.
