St. Mark’s U.C.W. Bazaar

Although we are small in numbers, we had a busy year.

Along with the Helping Hands Group, our first event was the annual Christmas Bazaar which was held at the end of November. It was a great success clearing a total of $2170.00. A special thank you goes out to each and every one who baked, bought, worked, served, knitted, sewed, and donated their time in many ways.

Our donations this year were to Brunswick Street Mission, Seasonal Services, the Port Hawkesbuy Food Bank, Leeside, our Foster Child, and Thirty-Hour Famine. We gave $1,000 to the General Fund. We also paid half of the cost of replacing the food warmers and gave $50.00 to the Emma Barss, the Youth delegate to attend Conference.

We served lunches after four funerals and catered to Presbytery in March.
