Point Tupper Association Annual Tea
On Sunday, August 11th the Point Tupper Association is hosting their annual Causeway Tea from 2 until 4 pm at the Point Tupper Museum. There will be live music and a light lunch. No admission, donations are welcome.

Point Tupper Association Cold Plate Dinner 
On Friday, August 16th Point Tupper Association will hold a cold plate dinner consisting of ham, macaroni salad, potato salad, a homemade dinner roll and dessert.
St. Mark's United Church from 11 am until 1 pm. 
Eat in or take out. $12.00 a plate.

Kintyre Farm Concert
August 11, 2019-2:00 pm-5:00 pm at Kintrye Farm at 320 River Denys Road, Judique. Come and enjoy a fun filled afternoon with a variety of Inverness County musical talent! Bring your lawn chairs and have a great time meeting new friends! Canteen provided. Admission $10.00 and children under 12 are free!

ECHO OF SUMMER – FEATURING Cora Contabile on Sunday August 25th at 3:00pm at  Calvin Presbyterian Church, Loch Lomond  SPECIAL GUESTS: Everett Vass, Mario Colosimo, Doug Johnson, Barb Stetter, Rev .Bob Lyle. FREE WILL OFFERING. Ham & Salad Supper (optional) following the concert. Sponsored by the Loch Lomond Fire Dept.  Cost $15 Per Person.

The Strait Area (formerly Port Hastings) Museum hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Monday to Friday and 12 to 4 pm. Saturday and Sunday. The Artisans Collective Gift Shop is open 10 to 4 pm. Monday to Friday and the same as the Museum on Saturday and Sunday. We will be open till the middle of October. The Ice Cream Barn is opened 1 pm to 9 pm. every day. The name change was necessary to better reflect the extent of the information compiled over the past 40 years by the Port Hastings Historical Society members and staff.

A 64th Anniversary Celebration of the Official Opening of the Canso Causeway will be held on Tuesday, August 13th from 2 to 4 pm. at the Strait Area Museum in Port Hastings. Share your stories and enjoy an oatcake with a cup of tea while you listen to the entertainment and visit the Gift Shop.
