WE GATHER TO WORSHIP GOD

Greeting
Let us pause to remember that in this region we live and work and worship on lands that are, by law, the unceded territories of the Wabanaki peoples—predominantly the lands of the Mi’kmaq, Maliseet, and Passamaquoddy.
May we live with respect on this land, and live in peace and friendship with its people.
One: The peace of Christ be with you. All: And with your spirit.

*Introit    This Is the Day That God Has Made Ref x2 VU 17
Call to Worship
One: Our God is a worker of wonders, bringing life out of death.
All: Nothing and no one is holy like our God!
One: God lifts up those who are lowly, God rekindles lives that the world has sought to extinguish.
All: Nothing and no one is holy like our God!
One: God restores dignity to those who have been brought down, and guards the feet of his faithful ones.
All: Nothing and no one is holy like our God!
One: Come, friends, and let us worship God.

Opening Prayer
Thank you, Maker of us all, for your faithfulness to us. Thank you, Friend of sinners, that your friendship never fails us. Thank you, Mysterious Guide, for standing forever with us. Join us in this time of wonder and praise. Gather and journey with us from this place into your new and glorious world. Amen

All: Thanks be to God! Amen.
