Prayer for Christian Unity: February 18, 2016
Representatives from Trinity Anglican, St. Mark's United and St. Joseph's met recently to prepare a prayer service to pray for Christian Unity. Our service will be on Thursday, February 18. While we know it is winter with all its challenges, we will gather at each church (gathering in order at Trinity, St. Mark's, St. Joseph) for prayer, song and Scripture and then move to the next church and then process to the next church. We are hoping for a nice evening so we can walk together, although many may wish to drive from place to place. For those choosing to go on foot, we will be making prayers at each intersection, praying for the needs of our community. Finishing at St. Joseph's, we will conclude with a time of hospitality and fellowship. More details to follow in coming weeks. We hope that you will take this opportunity (with all its challenges!) and join us as we “journey” in faith as Christian people. If the weather proves inclement that evening our service will be held at St. Joseph's.
