This
week’s focus scripture illustrates that when we are vulnerable and authentic with
others it can give permission for others to also do the same. Joseph’s is an
incredible depiction of vulnerability and authenticity. Through his weeping,
his offering of forgiveness, and sharing of his experience, the brothers are
also able to weep with him.
