Children’s Sunday
The picture of a believing community where “crawlers, toddlers, walkers, wheelers, and runners all journey together” is a picture of God’s covenant people. At the heart of the covenant is an action of being called or brought together—of being included. It is not an action of separation into individual units, but a bringing together into a whole, the forming of community.

WE GATHER TO WORSHIP GOD

Greeting

One: The peace of Christ be with you. All: And with your spirit.
* Introit           All Are Welcome      verse 1
Let us build a house where love can dwell
and all can safely live.
A place where saints and children tell
how hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
rock of faith and vault of grace.
Here the love of Christ shall end divisions:
Refrain
All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place.

to us and all humankind, most giving God.

to the deepest longings of heart and soul,
All: so we are aware of your
heartfelt concern for us, O ever-present God.
