St. Mark's Teacher's Tea
St. Mark's Christian Education Committee held a tea for the Sunday School Teachers Monday, October, 2nd. There was a good turnout. Heather Roussy (Annette Harnish's replacement as superintendent) chaired the meeting. A discussion took place with Rev. Pelley regarding the need to start preparing children for Confirmation in their early Sunday School years instead of with a crash course just before Confirmation. The teachers tossed ideas around about how to meld the requirements for Confirmation with the present Sunday School curriculum. Also problems with continuity of lessons with team teaching was discussed. The evening ended with tea and delicious goodies!
