Choir Practice

Choir practice will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 5:45 to go review music for the Choir service on May 31st and for St. Mark's Anniversary, June 14th.

St. Mark's Anniversary Service, June 14th

St. Mark's Anniversary Service with Communion will be held Sunday, June 14th at 9:30 AM. A light lunch will follow. St. David's is invited to join in this service and celebration.

St. Mark's Special Events Group (UCW)

St. Mark's Special Events Group (UCW) will meet at 5 PM in the Hastings Room of the Skye Motel for dinner, followed by a brief business meeting. All ladies are welcome to attend. Please confirm your attendance by contacting Connie at 625-1417, or Anabel at 625-0741.

St. Mark's Sunday School Closing

St. Mark's Sunday School Closing will be Sunday, May 31st. The children and teachers will receive their certificates during the service which will be conducted by the Choir.

What a wonderful meal! The Pot Luck Supper was a huge success taking in $1,902.00 of which $346.00 were donations. Again it was a great opportunity to visit folks we have not seen all through this long icy winter. Thanks to everyone who contributed food and money, worked at the supper and supported the event in any way. A big Thank You to Ruth who organized the meal and made sure there would be enough food for all.

St. David's Easter Sunday Sunrise Service and Breakfast


Once again St. David's held their Easter Sunrise Service. This year the weather forced the service to be held in the sanctuary, rather than out the elements. A sumptuous breakfast at the Port Hastings Fire Hall followed the service.

Madison Timmons and Sam Fox were confirmed and Robert Downard was received into membership in the United Church of Canada.
