Terry Fox Run 2015 - Date: Sept. 20th - Time 1:00 p.m. – Location: Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. This year celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run! Come join us Sunday, Sept. 20th to walk, run or bike 1km, 5km or 10km and help support the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research! Bring a friend and have a great time keeping Terry’s Dream alive! Sat. Aug 22, 12-4 pm, The Worship Committee of River and Lakeside PC, are pleased to present Heritage Day in Orangedale Self-guided tours of the Presbyterian and United Churches; Walking self-guided tours of the village will be available with maps; quilts, pictures, artefacts and other displays in the Smith Community Hall; a miniature train will be on display at the Station and hopefully running; the Station will be open; BBQ hotdogs and hamburgs, (donations accepted), around 4:30 pm, and then, at 6pm a CelticCeilidh in the church. Donations to M&S Fund. Mark your calendars!!! Come & celebrate in Orangedale.
