The U.C.W. met in April with six members in attendance. We purchased a cart with a cutlery container on one end and a garbage container on the other, 2 small and 2 large slotted spoons, 2 ice cream scoops, oven mitts with long wrists and a tea pot.
We served lunch at the funerals of Eleanor Leonard, Dana Burns, Leonard King and Hazel Smith.We also gave a donation to the 30-Hour Famine, purchased Communion cups and we continue to support our foster child.
Our next meeting will be held in November to plan for our Christmas Bazaar.
