Choir Notes

During the past few months we have been more active during the greeting part of the service, not just greeting each other, but those of us who are able are leaving the choir loft to greet other members of the congregation.

When the flu bug laid Al low, Rev. Sheldon filled the breach and brought his guitar so we did not have to sing unaccompanied. It did require some changes in the hymns from the ones originally planned.

We would like to acknowledge the participation of members of other choirs, for funerals in particular. We return the compliment when we can. We are practicing now for a special mass at St. Joseph’s to commission people who have taken special training in lay ministry.

On July 13, the Choir will conduct the service at St. David’s.
