It was a project that required planning and preparation...
...precision...
...partnership...

A Big Thank You! to Paul Kehoe, Almon Chisholm, Sandy MacDonald, John MacLeod Langley, Bob Langdon (and his NSCC students who constructed the stand)
Now on display...what we found under the bell
A few of the smaller items--a Special Agent badge, 2 firecrackers (still intact!), a 1963 penny, a "bell" Christmas tree ornament, tiny duck with head broken off (likely from the fall into the bell).

This note is a mystery--Bentley Chapman was not born until December of 1966, the year St. Mark's was built.

This makes more sense--putting a message like this in the bell when you are about 12 years old. Way to go Bentley!
