Worldwide people
praise you now, God:
in groups of
two or three spread out;
in multitudes
of hundreds squeezed together;
all worthy of
you, Lord.
Unite us,
bless us, be with us, for we all approach you humbly;
and rejoice that
you receive us.
Let the whole
world praise you, Holy God!

Like the scent
from a lovely garden,
your good news

you blaze
into lives with joy and peace.
As we gather to
share bread around this table,
we pause to
remember other tables, other times, other hands.
We take stock of

and seek out a
deeper connection with you.
We have
hoarded the good news instead of sharing.

the cup of life without tasting.
