Canada developed this giving catalogue Gifts with Vision in response
to member requests to be able to give gifts to relatives, friends,
and loved ones that are in direct support of the church's Mission &
Service partners across Canada and around the world.
Copies of the “UPPER
ROOM” for January-February are available.
Deadline for information
for the bulletin is Thursday at noon.
Canadian Church Calendars
have arrived and are available for purchase in the church
office. $6.00 each. This bilingual Canadian Church Calendar features
colourful photographs of United Churches from across the country, and
notes special days and church seasons. A wonderful way to celebrate
United Church heritage all year round. A great stocking stuffer.

Duncan MacMaster of Port
Hawkesbury will be introducing us to his newest novel, A Mint
Condition Corpse, on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00pm at the Port
Hawkesbury Branch Library. Come out and bring a friend...we will be
talking Murder at the Library!!
Please join us for
“Making Spirits Bright,” a Christmas concert by the Inverness
County Singers and the Young County Singers, directed by Laurel
Browne with piano accompaniment by Lawrence Cameron. The
concert will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 at St.
Mark’s United Church. There will be additional performances
on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 at St. Margaret’s Church,
Broad Cove; and Monday, December 12 at 7:30 at St. Mary’s
Church, Mabou. Freewill donations go to local charities.

Donate your gently used
clothing to Port of Welcome Settlement Association. Drop off
clothing at Cathy's Consignment shop and ask that proceeds of sales
go to the POWSA account (act#4488). Once our family arrives they
will be able to use the credit in that account to purchase clothing
items.

The Princeville United
Church Annual Christmas Service will be held Sunday December 11th at
7PM. Come and join in a wonderful evening of beloved Christmas music
and readings in our beautiful old church decorated in Christmas
finery. A fellowship will follow. All welcome
Port Hawkesbury Seasonal
Services is once again preparing to provide Christmas dinner boxes
for those in need in the Town. Anyone wishing to donate financially
to this project may do so by contacting Jo-Anne MacDonald @ 625-3003.
Donations also may be left at the Pitt Street Post Office. Donations
may be left in your name, at the Royal Bank of Canada.

our Seniors at Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre on Sunday, December 18
from 11am-2pm. Free lunch with dessert & Tea and Coffee. Free

become effective Monday, November 21, 2016 as follows: Mondays –
St. Peter’s; Tuesdays – Arichat (Office Day); Wednesdays –
Louisdale; Thursdays – Arichat; and Fridays – Port Hawkesbury.
