September 7th: Gathering Into the Sacred Circle September 7th is called Recovenanting Sunday. In the early days of Israel, the people came together once a year to renew their covenant with God. As we gather again after the summer and meet new people who have joined us, we renew our Christian commitment to learning and to serving God together in the community of the church. We are all invited to Gather Into the Sacred Circle at worship this day as we summarize in drama form the Hebrew Scripture texts we have read this summer and celebrate communion together as we recall the first Passover.
Nan and Bruce will be enjoying 2 weeks of vacation in late September. Worship leader on September 21st will be Sue Betuik and September 28th will be the Rev. Adelina Pecchia.

Copies of the “UPPER ROOM” for Sept.-Oct. are available
