88th Anniversary of United Church of
Canada
3rd After Pentecost-47th
Anniversary St. Mark’s U.C.
The readings this week remind us that God’s compassion and grace
is limitless, and knows no boundaries. Each and every one can both
receive and share this wondrous power; each and every one is a worthy
candidate of God’s grace and favour, and a minister of the same.
How have you received God’s grace? Where might you offer
it?

of Life, come unto me.

move in

Roots

One:
At times our days and our dreams may seem dry.

One:
God can water our dry places and bring forth new fruit of how we
may live and thrive. Come, meet us here!
All:
Come, sense God’s renewing welcome!

Offering Prayer
Just
as you did for the widow of Zarephath, we know that our jar is filled
by you; our pitcher is filled by you. For all that you give to us, we
give you thanks, and we return a portion here. May our gifts, in
their turn, fill another’s jar and replenish another’s pitcher.
Amen.
