Prayer Shawl Knitting Circle: Knitters and crocheters gather in the parlour of St. Mark’s on the 3rd Monday of each month. The next time of gathering is June 19th at 1:00 p.m. This is our last meet before the summer break.
Copies of the “UPPER ROOM” for July-August are available.
Deadline for information for the bulletin is Thursday at noon.
Food Bank donations are received on the last Sunday of the month.
During the month of June, we will honour the United Church commitment to practice reconciliation and work for Indigenous justice. Throughout this month, we’ll begin our worship times with an Acknowledgement of the Territory. We will continue getting to know the parish of Holy Family, Eskasoni by traveling there to attend Mass on June 17th. Aboriginal Sunday, the Sunday closest to National Aboriginal Day (June 21), is an opportunity to celebrate First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples’ values, customs, languages, and culture. We will observe Aboriginal Sunday at worship here on June 18th.
Nan will be away from June 24th - July 7th for Continuing Education.
Sue Betuik will be providing worship leadership on June 25th with Services at both St. Mark’s and St. David’s. On July 2nd, Sue Betuik will be providing leadership at St. David’s with NO Service at St. Mark’s.
Combined Services during the month of July will be held at St. David’s (No Service at St. Mark’s) and during the month of August and on September 3rd Combined Services will be at St. Mark’s with no Services at St. David’s..

FundScrip Financial Report
FundScrip has earned to date $ 930.00 which is approximately $200.00 more than at the same time in 2016. A thank-you is extended to all those who continue to support this successful program.

Donate your gently used clothing to Port of Welcome Settlement Association. Drop off clothing at Cathy's Consignment shop and ask that proceeds of sales go to the POWSA account (act#4488). Once our family arrives they will be able to use the credit in that account to purchase clothing items.
