Wear RED, YELLOW OR GOLD to church on May 15th, Pentecost Sunday! Pentecost is the joyous culmination of the great 50 days of the Easter season. It is a festival of fire and wind and spirit. The color for this day is a vivid red signifying the “tongues of fire” which rested on each disciple. Red is also the color of martyrdom, a symbol of what was in store for the early Christians and so many who would come after them. At Pentecost we celebrate not only the Holy Spirit poured out on the disciples but God’s Spirit at work today, and the gifts of the Spirit we have each been given.

May 25th – 10:30 a.m. – Service at the Nursing Home.
