Minute for Mission & Offering Our Gifts to God
* Offering Prayer
Elizabeth and Mary were ohana, or family. They encouraged each other because they were ohana. Today, our ohana embraces the world over; from the Muslim giving alms, to the Eskimo in the cold tundra, to the Hindu in Bangladesh. Like Elizabeth and Mary, let us encourage each other, and take care of each and every member of our ohana. We offer these gifts in service to our ohana and our God. Amen.
Prayers of Thanksgiving and Intercession
One: As Elizabeth and Mary were called by God, we are called to receive and welcome family, guests, visitors, and strangers.
All: God’s house is my house and your house. We show God’s hospitality whenever we care for our neighbours, provide for their needs, and treat them with honour and respect.

WE GO TO SERVE GOD
