We started the Amazing Grace at St. Mark's with a cornerstone challenge.
After the cornerstone challenge at St. Mark's ("At the Corner") we took on St. David's challenge of building an Inukshuk at the Causeway.
St. Mark's Sunday School team, "The Amazing Gazers": Heather, Mary, Marlene, Brenda Hannah & Rebecca.
"The Old Beachcombers" team consisted of Bonnie, Camille, Dave and Lorena.
"Photo Finish" was the West Bay challenge. We were given a number of item with which to decorate our vehicle and then Wayne York took pictures of the results. Time and originality scored points for your team.
We had to stop and take in the beauty at Marble Mountain after our lunch on the beach.
"Hallowed Games" was the Marble Mountain challenge: everything from darts to horse shoes.
Cathy, from St. David's team, was a champion at getting ping-pong balls into a bedpan!
Stewart United in Whycocomagh was wrapped in scaffolding in preparation for renovating the steeple.
Donna's challenge, "Top Ten", was to discover historical tidbits about their past ministers.
We enjoyed tea and goodies before our challenge.
The beautiful Greenwood United in Baddeck challenged us with photos of some churches in the Presbytery which we had to name, as well as to identify some hymns when only presented with the second line of the hymn.

Finally we returned to Marble Mountain
where we had dinner in the community hall.

After a delicious dinner of lasagna, salads, gingerbread and chocolate cake,Wayne Yorke gave out a number of prizes to some lucky participants.
