The Angel Tree in the front entry was set up to facilitate the collection of food and children’s gifts to go in our Christmas Dinner Boxes. You are invited to choose and angel (s) and bring the items to the White Gift Service on Dec. 15th. Please wrap the gifts for children in white paper and attach the angel that you chose.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Floor Curling, each Wednesday, at St. Mark’s Church hall. Bring a toonie and change of footwear. Drop in whenever you like. No experience necessary. Come and enjoy a time of fun and fellowship.

Port Hawkesbury Seasonal Services Seasonal Services is preparing to provide Christmas Dinner Boxes for those in need in the Town of Port Hawkesbury. Anyone wishing to donate financially to this project may do so by dropping your sealed donation with your contact information in the collection basket, or dropping it off to the RBS on Granville Street, the Port Hawkesbury Post Office, email transfer to seasonalservices@mail.com or by contacting Sandra Praught at 902-227-5858 by December 25th.

CHORAL CONCERT:
The Inverness County Singers, the Young County Singers, LOCAL MOTION and the Chamber Singers, under the direction of Laurel Browne and accompanied by Lawrence Cameron present HEAR THE JOY! The concerts are Friday, December 13th at St. Matthew’s Church, Inverness; St. Mark’s Church in Port Hawkesbury on Saturday, December 14th and wind up on Monday, December 16th at St. Mary’s Church in Mabou. All concerts begin at 7:30. A good will offering will be gathered at all venues with most of the proceeds being donated to local charities after expenses.
After the concert, we would like to provide a light lunch of tea, sandwiches and sweets for the singers and our guests. Consider this a Christian outreach/welcoming gesture! The Princeville United Church Annual Christmas Service will be held Sunday December 8th at 7PM. Come and join in an evening of beloved Christmas music and readings in our beautiful old church decorated in Christmas finery. A fellowship will follow. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 1041 River Inhabitants Road.
