St.David’s Sunday School would like to thank Emma Rhynold for the valuable contribution she has made in ensuring the Sunday School classes were successful.
Over the last few years Emma has taken time from her busy schedule to prepare/deliver lessons for the children attending Sunday School . She was able to enrich the lives of these young boys and girls through the love and commitment she had for their best interest. We are truly grateful to her.
Also, we wish her continued success as she moves forward to attend University. We know that she is a person who will continue to accept the opportunity to have a positive impact on others.

The Port Hastings Historical Society was formed in 1978, 41 years ago this coming October, to prepare for the 25th anniversary of the official opening of the Canso Causeway which would be held on August 13th, 1980. Four years later, with the assistance of more government grants, we were able to open the Port Hastings Museum and Archives in the Village. In 2009, we moved to our present location in the Port Hastings Rotary. We continue to provide an important service to the communities as well as to hundreds of visitors every year. We'd be pleased if new people would become involved by attending our Wednesday, September 4th monthly meeting at the Museum at 7 pm.
