November 11th, 2012 Remembrance Day
* please stand as able

We Gather to Worship God

*Processional
Keep the home fires burning,
While your hearts are yearning,
Though your lads are far away
They dream of home;
There’s a silver lining
Through the dark cloud shining,
Turn the dark cloud inside out,
Till the boys come home.
Candles of Thanksgiving, Peace and Hope
(A time of prayer will follow the lighting of each candle)

*A Time for Remembering--Standing in Silence

*O Canada
Bilingual Version
O Canada!
Our home and native land
True patriot love in all our lives command.
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,

Il sait porter la croix!

Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Translation of French Version
O Canada!
Land of our forefathers,
Thy brow is wreathed with a glorious garland of flowers.
As is thy arm ready to wield the sword,
So also is it ready to carry the cross.
Thy history is an epic
Of the most brilliant exploits.
Thy valour steeped in faith

Will protect our homes and our rights
Will protect our homes and our right
