A group of cyclists from across Canada will be staying in St. David's Church hall from September 19 until the 21st. The group is a part of an organization called the "Otesha Project" (www.otesha.ca) and besides cycling all over Canada, they offer performances and presentations at schools, churches and service clubs that have to do with environmental and social justice issues. This, of course, fits in with United Church philosophy.
As a "thank you" for offering them a place to rest on their trip through the Atlantic provinces, they will be presenting a performance at St. David's during the morning service on September 21st. Everyone is welcome to attend.
