Thank you Andy and Ingram
St. Mark's Christian Education Committee is very grateful for the professional job done by the Trustees and Finance Committee on the railings in the church. The Nursery and the upper sunday school rooms are now safer. Small children will no longer be able to squeeze between the widely spaced balusters on the stairway railings since Andy Palmer doubled them up. He did a wonderful job. The new balusters blend so perfectly with the old, that they appear to be the original work. Thanks to Ingram Fowlie who undertook the job of applying the varathene.
St. Mark's Service, February 11
While waiting for the service to start, the choir couldn't stop talking about what a wonderful evening they had at Under the Map Theatre's presentation of "The Wicked Chocolate Hoot". Some of these talented actors are members of the choir - even "The Queen"!

Buffet Supper was a Success
Our seventh annual Buffet Supper was held on February 2. There were few conflicting events and the weather was not too bad. It appears now that it netted about $860. Thanks to members and non-members alike for their contributions of casseroles and desserts. Both matched quite well with the number of people who came, and our new heat light gantry kept the hot casseroles hotter. There was a little food left over, but not enough for the Annual Meeting potluck on February 4.
